Here at Humanist Hall -- a non-theist church -- we see environmentalism as religious expression. We've had a solar roof since 2005; we have one grey water pipe; we've planted native gardens; we recycle and use green products; we serve organic and local foods; we honor our yard for its live oak canopy; we've integrated our work and housing into one place; we exchange work for housing; we travel by bus and bicycle. I could go on -- we bathe only once a week! -- but maybe I've gone too far already! The filmmaker seems most interested in evangelical Christians but, hey, s/he doesn't have to totally ignore us radical humanists out here on the edge! We're part of the religious environmental movement! Nature is at the heart of our religion. When we view the Earth as sacred, we treat it with respect. We could ordain our live oaks, but we're not quite there yet.
