Profile Information

How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
I have a Blog (www.thegreenmanproject.com) that promotes similar principles. I help people think outside the box as often as possible. As for my JOB... well, not really applicable yet. I plan to re-skill as soon as possible.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm very into the idea of smaller communities. Self sufficiency is my goal as well as creating a more sustainable environment for future generations. I like to share ideas with like minded people.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
I have done pottery for many years. I have some gardening skills. I've read up quite a bit about Permaculture and PeakOil. I also have computer skills and wiring of homes.
Your Personal Website (if you have one)

That's so funny  - we posted this comment before we read you email !  We are on the same wavelength.  Nevada City rocks in terms of Sustainability projects and a vibrant TT core.  A.P.P.L.E. founded the Center for Sustainable Living and they will be joining TCA now that they have ironed out some of their technical/web issues.  Lot's of folks have migrated here from LA and the Bay area.  Let us know if you want to come visit the area and we would be happy to host ya!

Cheers

Dude the Green Slug article rocks!  We like your blog!  You should feed it into your profile page here with the 'RSS' little box (should be in the left hand column) - just type the name and URL and configure it to 'show details' and the number of posts (we usually do max) and then drag/drop it into the center aisle here and wala' - you have your blog fed into you page!

Cheers
