How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
i have a sustainable landscape company that uses permaculture design to design, build and maintain outdoor environments. edible gardens, food and medicinal forests and drought-proofing are some services offered.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
i am interested in improving my family's self-reliance skills. the local economy/community is something i want to be involved with...
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
growing your own food, water conservation, restoration planting, survival and awareness in nature.....

What aspects of the sustainability movement most interests you?
by spreading the word to those who are ready to hear, educating about and creation of: edible gardens/farms, natural building techniques, herbal medicines, healthy diets/nutrition, water conservation.

Hi Rob,

Your photos show some nice designs. It looks like you live on some land outside of Cayucos. I feel so lucky to have this great climate to grow plants with the influence of the ocean.

I do have an interest in wildfire resistant homes which I believe can become fire-proof homes with some thoughtful design and the addition of a few systems to prevent the fire from entering the stucture.
