I identify with the movements' zeal for strengthening bio-regional economics, local/season/organic food systems, alternative currencies, and heart-centered group/business ethics.

I’m writing all members of Transition California from Los Osos! We’re having the first meeting (and potluck) for persons interested in a new time bank in Los Osos.
THURSDAY February 9, 2012: start-up potluck dinner, hosted by People Helping People at the Los Osos Community Center, Palisades Ave, Los Osos.
Doors open at 5 pm to meet other members interested in the Hour Exchange and to try out the computer software.
Dinner begins at 6 pm. We will talk about "Time Banks" and answer questions after the dinner, and have more time to try the software individually.
BRING YOUR OWN PLATE, UTENSILS, CUP. Please bring a dish to share at the pot luck and if you eventually join the Hour Exchange, YOU WILL EARN AND HOUR CREDIT. Also, if you bring an internet-capable laptop you will earn another hour credit.
