Hi Melissa

We are on a mission to strengthen this network and would like you and Avalon Springs to have a stronger presence.  Please - join the EcoVillage Network group we have created and join the discussions about creating an EcoVillage Network (Avalon Springs could be a major contributor) as well as upcoming discussions about zoning laws, building codes, and how to get California on a state level to allow low impact sustainable development!

We added some of Avalon's videos to the group home page for you - it was lacking content and it would be great if you could add more to the main text box.  We are going to be scheduling a group leader conference for all TCA groups and we will keep you posted.

HI Melissa

We visited Avalon Springs website tonight and checked out the size and scope of Avalon! We are going to be doing a talk in Sept about EcoVillage Strategic Planning using the Lammas EcoVillage project in Wales as an example of how to get through the permit process using their precedent setting Low Impact model. We would like to hear more about what you guys had to go through with the permit process of Avalon - could you do a post about it in the Avalon Group?
Congratulations on your progress and success.

Hi and welcome Mellissa,

Its great to see some people from intentional communities here on Transitions CA. We who have been in the incubator of intentional or ecovillages or cohousing can aid people in the cities and towns as to HOW to work together, how to make decisions, how to collaborate... in these transitional times.
