How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
Work at Bay Localize, dedicated to reducing reliance on fossil fuels and increasing community reslience and livability in the 9-county Bay Area. Learn more at www.baylocalize.org.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I'm very concerned about how climate change, peak oil, and economic decline affects social justice in urban areas and especially vulnerable populations.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Program management, food policy, energy policy, general economic and environmental background, writing skills, fluent in Spanish.
What aspects of the sustainability movement most interests you?
Networking Transition initiatives in the Bay Area with other sustainability movements at the regional and state level for experience exchange and greater policy efficacy.
