Profile Information

How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
I work in the field of Equine Assisted Learning and Psychotherapy. The emotional awakening that happens as a direct result of this work individually has the potential to create a community of awakened spirits hoping to connect with each other and nature on a deeper, more significant level.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
My ultimate goal is to create and community of people all interested in preserving our green Earth, and becoming more emotionally tuned in to each other and the Earths beings.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
First and foremost to own horses, and be successful in your relationship with them one must have a certain amount of leadership and passion in life for this is exactly the energy horses are drawn to. I have been exposed to leadership training since I was child on the school yard in elementary school being recruited for the "conflict resolution team". Since then many of my jobs have included customer service and leadership training programs. I also worked as a working apprentice for the reputable horse trainer and communicator Carolyn Resnick where I learned immeasurable lessons in communication and leadership.

The network of likeminded members of community looking to expand and learn from each other.
Your Favorite Books/Websites/Blogs/RSS Feeds for Information about the Sustainability Movement
I have only recently discovered the Transition Movement and haven't discovered a favorite book/website/or blog, yet.
