How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
I am actively involved in the Transition Ojai Valley effort... and am part of the organizing and information/communication wing. We can communicate good ideas and information from Transition California to Transition Ojai Valley via our email and Website. And when we get a little more of our act together, we can let you know what we're doing. Thank you!
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
It speaks to the transition our planet is in now - calling people together to live more simply, care more about the environment, and share resources and talents.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Communication; networking;
What aspects of the sustainability movement most interests you?
The holism of it.

Hi Julie

Appreciate your thoughts around the verbiage used around the event.  Seems like the easiest thing to do would be to create an alternate graphic and get it into circulation.  We will design one using the same imagery and simply drop the 're'.   Then we will post it, send it, and circulate it - our guess is a great deal of people will simply pick it up and use it because you are right - you are not alone in feeling that way.  Got a busy next couple days but we will put this on our list to get done this next coming week - time is of the essence yeah?
