How can we transition without being able to grow your own organic food or find it in your local community? How can we successfully transition without applying permaculture principles to your environment? Learn, share, and explore in this group.
How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
I am a "sustainability worker" installing affordable, quality greywater systems, rainwater catchment systems, and am available for edible landscaping and permaculture consultations. I also do drip irrigation systems and can meet many other gardening needs.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I think the world needs to change dramatically towards local and low-footprint activity, and governments/corporations/people need to stop trashing the planet.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Permaculture design courses (3 certifications), have installed 15+ laundry-to-landscape greywater systems, edible landscaping knowledge and farming experience. Did sustainable work with Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic for 2 years
