How might your current work contribute to the sustainability movement?
I'm an educator and (recovering) architect focusing on urban ecological restoration and agroecology as keystone strategies to address multiple transition issues.
In what ways do you personally identify with the Sustainability & Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I love compound questions. Well, my family name is Hopkins, to start, and those pagan roots run deep. I am interested for multiple reasons, including the degradation of our social ecological systems and the need to rethink and reconstitute.
What background and skills do you bring to this community?
Education, land use planning, design, new commons, home economics (domestic technologies), and so forth.
